Our First Three

We are thrilled to announce our first three titles and authors:

• AKaiser’s full-length collection, glint  (tentative publication date October 2019)

AKaiser is a 2019 finalist for the Eggtooth Editions Chapbook Prize, The North American Review James Hearst Prize; and the Dogwood: A Journal of Poetry & Prose Prize. A member of the Sweet Action Poetry Collective, she has contributed to its four chapbooks. Recent and forthcoming work can be found in Amsterdam Quarterly, The Broken Plate, Inscape, Mudfish, Quail Bell Magazine, The Rumpus, St. Petersburg Review and the anthologies Conclave: Justifying the Margins and Maximum Tilt Solstice Anthology. Dr. Kaiser holds advanced degrees in poetry and intercultural studies & translation, with a dissertation on translations of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass.

• Susana Case’s chapbook, Body Falling, Sunday Morning (tentative publication date October 2019)

Susana H. Case is the author of six books of poetry. Drugstore Blue (Five Oaks Press) won an IPPY Award in 2019. She is also the author of four chapbooks, two of which won poetry prizes. Her first collection, The Scottish Café, from Slapering Hol Press, was re-released in a dual-language English-Polish version, Kawiarnia Szkocka by Opole University Press. Her work has appeared in CalyxThe Cortland ReviewPortland ReviewPotomac ReviewRattleRHINO and many other journals. Case is a Professor and Program Coordinator at the New York Institute of Technology in New York City.

• Bill Abbott’s full-length collection, (My Life, and Other) Famous Train Wrecks of Ohio (tentative publication date February 2020)

Bill Abbott is the author of Let Them Eat MoonPie, the history of poetry slam in the Southeast. He has been published in Ray’s Road Review, Radius, The November 3rd Club, Flypaper Magazine, and The Sow’s Ear. Mr. Abbott lives in Ohio and teaches creative writing at Central State University.
